IMPROVED ENERGY EFFICIENCY
The air cushion lowers the wet surface area of the hull which reduces water friction – enabling high speed and zero emissions
The vessel is lifted out of the water and has a very low draft, which reduces wake wash – often being a problem in protected/inland waters

UNIQUE HULL SOLUTION
The SES-X hull is a combination of several current vessel types – having the stability and deck space of a catamaran, the hull volume of a monohull, and the seakeeping and efficiency of a hovercraft.
SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE TECHNICAL SOLUTION
The solution is essentially a regular v-shaped hull, with a hollow bottom section, a rear enclosing flap and an air fan in the bow. Compared to regular SES technology, SES-X solution does not include problematic and high-maintenance “skirt” enclosing the cushion. Compared to hydrofoils, SES-X solution is simpler, safer and more robust. Off-cushion, the vessel operates essentially as a regular monohull.
